Built to Empower Vulnerable Women
Where Purpose Wears the Crown
The Chisomeje Crown Fund is a global women’s empowerment fund dedicated to transforming pageantry and modelling from spaces of vulnerability into platforms of ethical leadership, social impact, and economic dignity.
The Chisomeje Crown Fund aligns with the United Nations Fashion and Lifestyle Network and advances key global priorities, including SDG 5 on gender equality, SDG 8 on decent work and economic empowerment, SDG 10 on reducing inequalities, and SDG 16 on access to justice and protection, while being firmly grounded in international human rights frameworks such as CEDAW, the ICCPR, and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
By providing financial support, safeguarding, and capacity-building, CCF enables women, particularly young women from economically disadvantaged and impoverished backgrounds to pursue pageantry and modelling without exploitation, while advancing charitable and humanitarian causes that deliver measurable community impact.
We fund purpose.
We protect dignity.
We crown impact.
Problem Statement
Globally, pageantry and modelling industries:
- Disproportionately exploit young women without financial security
- Normalise unpaid labour, coercive sponsorships, and power abuse
- Fail to provide safeguarding, ethics education, or post-title sustainability
Women with purpose are often forced to choose between:
- Economic survival, or
- Social impact and personal integrity
The Chisomeje Crown Fund exists to eliminate that false choice.
